childrens christmas party ideas
If you 're having a party in December you've a great start. Use the
Christmas tree as an idea. Traditional colours of green and red point
to using a poinsettia theme.
Gather together all you can with these colours and perhaps, gold. Arrange
you children in a circle and pass a little puppet around the circle until
the music stops.
Whoever has the puppet then, has to leave the circle (Boo Hoo).
With your christmas tree as the focus, set a task, with each child in
turn blindfolded, of pinning their badge the highest on the tree. This
always goes down great with kids.
Next up is Stop Dancing.
You play music they like and stop it at a certain point. Everyone has
to stand perfectly still. The one who stand most still wins the prize.
Of course, you just play this until everyone has a prize. What a great
game!
For the final treat, the christmas bag. You'll never be short of things
you can add in here. Christmas chocolates, colouring books and pens, and
so on. They don't cost much but kids just love to win a bag bag full of
goodies.
